Feeling unheard, unseen, and misunderstood…
Maybe you’ve felt unnoticed or unappreciated by friends, family, and even yourself. Self-criticism, self-doubt, and imposter syndrome are common. Even therapists feel unsure of themselves sometimes!
Working together…
We’ll take a holistic approach that considers your family system, socio-cultural background, trauma history, and personal identity. We’ll collaborate as we dive into these different parts of your life.
My approach also features social justice and multicultural components. I am an LGBTQ+-affirming, Health At Every Size® fat-positive clinician who celebrates all identities. As a cisgender white woman, I recognize my privilege and continually educate myself on how best to support those facing discrimination and injustice in our society.
I will sit beside you in your fears, insecurities, dreams, and goals… meeting you where you are while gently challenging you through the process.
It’s about realizing your worth and accepting yourself.

Couples Therapy
At some point in the relationship, it is common for couples to find themselves feeling disconnected from each other, stuck in a pattern of miscommunication, and struggling to work as a team. This can contribute to challenges in areas including intimacy, finances, parenting, and more.
You don’t have to continue living with this cycle of disconnection and conflict.
You deserve a loving and fulfilling relationship with your partner. In couples therapy sessions I aim to create a safe space for couples of any orientation to navigate conflict, improve communication, build trust, repair old wounds, and gain problem solving skills. I want to support both of you in this process of rebuilding connection and reaching a new place of understanding.
I offer support for all genders, LQBTQIA+ partnerships and I am neurodiversity affirming. I am currently working towards my level 1 Gottmans’ training certification.
During our time together and with intention, we will work to reignite those feelings of love, passion, and friendship you once felt in your relationship!
Welcome! I’m Nicole.
As a therapist at Stark Therapy Group, I’m here to create a safe space that allows you to dig deep and heal as you align with your most authentic self.
I have lots of training and experience treating couples, individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and disordered eating, as well as treating other therapists.
Imagine being heard, validated, and empowered on this journey!
